Report from the new Social Action Committee

The Social Action Committee has been reactivated, began organizing again in October, and meeting officially in January to explore how we might make a difference. Ten church members have expressed interest in working on the Social Action Committee.

The topics we have put some focus on so far has been solidifying our new Mission Statement, the Monadnock Interfaith Project and housing shortages, local Afghan refugees needs, reparations for use of African American spirituals, avenues for continuation of facing racism, and concerns over legislation at the New Hampshire State House.

Our support of Fair-Trade products is on hold due to the restrictions of the pandemic.

If you would like more information and/or would like to join our next meeting on March 3, from 7 to 8 p.m., feel free to contact Pam Blair at for zoom details.
