Quilt Show a Success!

    We had a great quilt show and ticket sale launch reception Friday, May 11, from 6 to 8 p.m.

  

    And, we are already planning our next quilt! So if you’ve been thinking about joining us, please ask one of us about the experience.

    The process of creating a quilt together is an exercise in patience, community, and love. Yes, one has to face the fact that seams will have to be ripped out and done over. Yes, it will take much longer than you thought, but this is not a race, it is a journey indeed! The time we spend together is some of the best experienced by a small group. We laugh and cry. We talk of personal things, we talk of politics, we even talk about quilts! In fact, we are already figuring out what we want to create next!

    Let us know if you would like to join us! Like life, no experience necessary!

     We meet either at Hastings or at one of our homes (if we're needing a lot of ironing and machine sewing, on Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. If you are interested in checking us out, please call Joanna Andros at 603-756-3560.
